Microsoft has always made excellent keyboards and the Surface Laptop 13 continues that tradition. 1.5mm key travel, precise actuation, and perfect spacing — it's the benchmark for Windows laptop keyboards. If you type for hours daily, you'll notice the difference within minutes.
Display — 3:2 Ratio Changes Everything
The 13.8-inch PixelSense display uses a 3:2 aspect ratio instead of the standard 16:9. This means significantly more vertical space for documents, websites, and code. 120Hz refresh makes scrolling exceptionally smooth. 400 nits brightness is adequate indoors but limiting in bright outdoor conditions.
Snapdragon X Elite Performance
The Snapdragon X Elite is genuinely fast for everyday tasks — Office, browsing, video calls, light photo editing. Battery life is exceptional at 15-18 hours real world. The caveat: some older x86 applications run through emulation and perform slower. Check your specific software before committing.
The Port Problem
